It’s a good game but it’s very punishing in the sense that it’s quite hard. It will also require a lot of time, your first play through will last 100-200hours tops. Also the story isn’t very explicit, you will have to learn it throughout item descriptions or npc’s scattered around the world. But In general it’s a good game and a good introduction to the souls genre.

Almost every boss have their own weaknesses. The only bosses that requires a lot of parrying are Genichiro/ Isshin, Armored Warrior and the giraffe scorpion dudes
