in Elden Ring, you can "choose" to play with a broken build, or you can go with RL1 and do things more challenging. In sekiro, it's always about the poise. If you don't upgrade your things, you just wait more for boss to do more moves. In Elden Ring, you can hit in any oopurtunity boss gives, and it really is in a fair amount. Also bosses have fair and good movesets (some doesn't but it's like 1-2 in 10 movesets in 50 unique bosses/boss types)

If a game says minimum 8GB & recommended 16GB, it doesn't mean it will use ALL 16 gigs of RAM. It just recommends 16GB for the game to run smoothly without issues. It means the game shouldn't need more than 16GB. If you have 32 then that's great. More the merrier but if a game says 16GB recommended, it never uses all.

If you take ER for example, it says 12GB minimum & 16GB recommended. I have two 16 gigs so a total 32 running on dual channel & I've never seen ER use more than 4~6GB when I opened task manager.

Actually not about the patch but for one boss.

In order to beat the puppet of future people needs to stand on the beach side of the map and just consume the resistance pot that you get as a drop from a lot of monsters. Which will make killing the puppet of the future a lot easier. Certainly lot easier then constantly losing your hp because you are standing on the decay.

So if any of you have a problem with that boss just stay on the beach part and drink your resistance potion. IT is the easiest boss in the game. I just wanted to say this for people having trouble with the boss.

Normally you just have to have the one copy of a base game to play the dlc of almost any game. Some games have standalone dlcs such as the doom eternal dlc but most of the time you just need to have the base game. You wont need to buy an another copy of elden ring unless you get banned for some reason and want to do pvp.

It is super good! Easily a 9/10 for me. Not as great as the highs of Dark Souls 3 and Elden Ring, but Lies of P has something that excels Fromsoft’s games: consistency.

I just got to the endgame and my GOD the game is just one small step to becoming a proper soulslike. It’s that “it’s bloodborne at home” but added with a couple extra seasoning to really stand out.

Sekiro made me quit a few times at first, then you just expect to die frequently. It's the most challenging combat system I've ever had to play but it's truly fun figuring out how the enemy moves and devising tactics to win the fights.

If you ring the demon bell in the beginning the difficulty of the bosses and enemies goes up. If you want a real challenge, don't upgrade the level on your sword or estus flask as well.

it is kinda hard but if your good at Sekrio tho youll have no problem
perfect guarding is major mechanic difference
you cant compared to darksouls too much the enemy placement is that of darksouls 2
but the bosses arent unbeatable an pretty fair if they dont attack during the visceral attack window
i beat lies of P twice an it is kinda compact and small newgame plus ran.
There are some bosses you can summon help for they are kinda tanky an you can heal or buff them but using them wont make yr skill any better so its a gitgud type game towards the end

Any team that uses fear of the dark in their trailer has my attention.

It's as non linear as a souls like could get without being full on open world.

its very very fun. umbral is scary and overwhelming in a good way. enemies feel balanced for a tough souls-like. lots of customization options and build options.

I especially love that anything you see? you can get, armor, weapons, gear in general. if you see an enemy or boss using it, you can use it too.

including their signature spells.

you can also avenge fallen players kinda like you can in the newer assassin's creed games. the enemy becomes tougher and takes on the players name, you get a special reward for avenging these players.
