The game kind of supports that automatically. Like lorewise the Volcano Manor Recusants and the Mohgwyn Dynasty Bloody Fingers hate each other almost as much as they hate the Erdtree and Two Fingers so depending on what invasion item you use, you will show up as either a Recusant or a Bloody Finger and can totally attack other Reds who aren't in your club.

all movement is 8-way, rather than true analog

its slowed down to a point that combat feels very deliberate, and mistakes are very easy to punish

it does however have very lax restrictions on infusions. bows and staves can be infused.
