yeah the souls games are based on berserk I get that but elden ring isn't, doesn't mean there aren't any references to berserk in elden ring. But that shouldn't be possible in any sense, great weapons should take multiple parries, same as bosses

I used the serpent hunter in PvP and it slaps hard, I landed the weapon art and it did 1500 on some rivers of blood nerd and it felt so good. I'd suggest giving it a wirl if you want a challenge, very rewarding

haven't played since, BUT I will say what I read sounds like a good balance (most of it anyway). They did a lot of adjustments to mage builds and I don't run magic aside from a few small incantations. But over all I wish they wouldn't mess with certain things sometimes to cater to the toxic complainers

unlimited FP is great if you're using something like Comet Azur or Meteorite
+10 int is only going to give you a small damage increase, realistically it's mostly useful for reaching requirements.

the bubbletear is incredible, it basically negates the next hit you'd take. I'd definitely recommend it.

it only blocks 1 hit, it lasts for about 3 minutes or until it's consumed.
if it's a boss that's hitting you a lot you could change to the extra HP tear, or Crimsonwhorl if you have it.

The full name is Crimsonwhorl Bubbletear. All non-physical damage is converted into healing for 15 seconds.

Oh only non physical. Still good for some enemies like Dragons probably.
Although a lot of enemies mix physcial and some element or magic

To be fair, if it converted every damage type into healing, it would be absolutely insane.
Some enemies mainly use elemental damage, or if you're running on lava, that's fire for example. From what I heard it actually blocks Rivers of Blood, since it does fire damage.

Sound like the 15 seconds Heal can help against Dragons Fire Breath and Red Lightning. There's also a Poise Tear I haven't tried.

And one that makes Poise Break easier I think it should work on all Spells but not sure... some spells don't break poise it seems or stagger

The game is considering it an extension of the weapon, rather than a seperate entity that is spawned from the weapon and then heads down a vector

Collisions in games are kind of 'off or on' in that, you can either block the whole thing or not block it. It's hard to block 'half a sword'. Since this is a melee attack, it's not being collided, because if it WERE you'd have a ricochet animation if your attack hit anything like a wall or floor, which would be awkward.
