I, for some reason, decided to make my first playtrough a RL1 no weapon upgrade one and just beat my first "hard" endgame boss from what I've been told. Honestly the insta kills in the second phase were rough but otherwise this was my favorite fight in the game so far, incredibly fun! Status effects carry hard when you deal 20 dmg a hit.

Text explaination:
you need to space out the 1st burst, dodge inwards, slightly to her left on the second, and then the third burst should overshoot you entirely so make sure to dodge away from her, if you're locked on, that means you need to hold backwards after dodging the second burst

I have fought Malenia over a hundred times as a cooperator. Then I switched to true solo offline play in which I recently beat her. There is a huge difference. Her attacks miss a lot more in online coop (like her triple 1 arm slash attack). Probably due to latency issues.

afaik those are the only two and dragon eyes appear inconsistently after eating or offering anywhere between 2 to even 10 dragon hearts. you can also get yellow eyes by casting a few dragon incantations. if you get red eyes it means you either became a knight of mohg or obtained the bloody finger. allegedly once you get red eyes you can never get yellow eyes again
