I am 100% certain that a bit weaker system will also run it, that has always been the case with From's games. I ran Sekiro with a 30-40% weaker GPU on 1080p and around 40fps, now I have a 1050 Ti and I'm almost certain it can pull off 720p 30fps, maybe a bit more

If someone happens to test lossless scaling and it doesn't trigger a ban or something stupid you can also use that. I wouldn't use it in anything except offline mode until someone tests to see if its safe online. But FSR can easily make a game playable and that's without even talking about the other settings like I use Ultra Quality on Cyberpunk and its a huge FPS boost.

Also if anyone has a I7 in the last 8 years they are pretty comparable to the recommended I7 8700K. Like I've a I7 4790k and that thing is still a beast compared to newer CPU's the 2014 generation of CPU's from Intel was really ahead of their time.

I feel bad for people with only 8GB of Ram but its sadly way passed time to upgrade I was getting memory windows crashes on Dying Light 1 and Grand Theft Auto V way back in 2015/2016 and 8GB of ram just isn't enough for everything.

Like Anno 1800 a 2019 title is capable of using 24GB of Ram.

RAM was no surprise either, 16GB are the new norm to play games sadly.
CPU is strange but I think its possible to overcome it, by closing background tasks, playing with everything else turned down (even Discord)

I heard the issue was also prevalent in Sekiro…something about it being tied to the engine or something. Supposedly, I read that changing graphic settings and stuff did absolutely nothing so the bug isn’t hardware related (both ds3 and Sekiro) as many would be quick to say.

I’d be genuinely curious about it though. I’d love to understand why some experience it and others don’t despite there being no correlation to how good their gear is. A lot of solutions have been made about it with effectiveness ranging from none to fixed depending on the user, often tied to the way the games constantly check for controller inputs or something? It seems odd they haven’t ironed that out if that is the case.

I was in the same boat, it was really far lesser in Sekiro in my experience though I can’t say the same for everyone else. I’m hoping that the stuttering described in his post isn’t that, because that’d be genuinely infuriating if the same issue lingered around for three individual titles that both supposedly had engine updates done for them. Plus, you can’t escape that issue by lowering settings. It’s just…there.

I’m hopeful, though. It could be the recording software, maybe his SSD/HDD is a little slow, maybe its his gpu/cpu throttling. Who knows.

I'll be honest, it kinda sucks to hear that invasions are as restricted as they are.

Also, if the tarnished finger is akin to a white soapstone and has infinite uses, then I'm assuming that the furlcalling finger is...basically the equivalent of an ember in the sense that it's used to see summon signs. By extension, it would make sense that you would get furlcalling fingers through helping others with the tarnished finger.

This is just my own speculation, of course, but it makes sense.

it's honestly the only way they'd be able to make out of it. no invader wants to chase a host to the ends of the earth, so they'd have to block out areas using the wall of light (like in the CNT). and no host want to explore offline with a horse and suddenly getting a wall slammed in their face because some guy decided to invade.
coop is also restricted to one area with a wall of light, so it'd only make sense if they only allow invasions during that.

Sure, but still not an ideal fix. And there's no confirmation that it's a DirectX12 problem. Either way, this is going to affect everyone on launch who isn't prepared, and mostly likely will have the most effect on people with minimum requirements. Assuming of course that it isn't fixed on launch/ by the Day 1 patch
