for dex build it's gonna be a long waiting game back and forth as you chip off at his health
maintaining stamina is very important because randomly he'll use lightning and you'll need to dodge it
when you first fight him he will roar and lightning will strike you 3 times, don't attack inbetween just wait till all 3 is done
his claw attack comes fast be ready and dodge into it
his breath attacks are slow and have windup, keep track of his head at all times and jump to the other side
you HAVE to run away when he does the large lightning nuke (like a huge bolt of gransax in the centre) and also run away when he does his lazerbeam attack in the secondphase just get as much distance as possible
inbetween everything i've mentioned just go and chip a bit a bit off his health and you'll be fine

super fun amazing boss and amazing lore behind it i love it wish i could fight him again

Or you can use the godskin peeler / black flame tornado and blitz the fight with relative security (funny to watch his health bar diseaper in rl1 because he just stand in the tornado)

i found this run with ironeye, its not an average run by any means but the weapons used arnt very rng dependant aside from the 1 legendary debuff stick

Getting one specific legendary is pretty rng depending. That's why I look at my average run instead of that one run where I get a day 1 Maria's and winged greathorn later on. Those runs aren't very realistic (only had one happen in 300+ expeditions) yes it's cool to push the limits like that but I rather go for good time on my average run

(not saying that run wasn't impressive btw) it was still very well executed

I think someone spread the idea that two handing Revenant's claw was superior when the game released, but I think that's not really the case.
Going to handed is not worth it, you can't cast spells, you are attacking slower, you don't do that much more damage and one handed moveset is more efficient (better range and mobility).

Argument 1:
City has the best zones for day1 out of any shifting earth for consistently clearing field bosses and gaols and ending with LV 10-12 without center castle.
Argument 2:
Zone will close on city day 2 every single time and the final zone is always on the same spot. So you will go to city either way.
Argument 2.5:
You create alot of uncessary backtrack since you can full clear city +Loretta day 2 and if you are good you can add hippo to that list aswel. So there is 0 need for doing it day 1.
Argument 3 to dispute your argument for legendaries:
You don't need legendaries to be strong. And you won't be able to use said legendary for 90% of day 1 anyways. You will visit city day 2 anyways to get said legendary later on.
City day 1 overall gives less loot, less dormant powers and less evergaols for your dps. It's clearly bad

hum not really, you can easily outperform a RoB with a double slash Nagakiba and bloodflame, way better everything.
Anyway any bleed setup is strong in the game but for me it feels a little mean to build a bleed build early, i haven't even used bleed until Maliketh on my RL1 just because he started to piss me off
Native bleed weapons are good, and if possible no need to make them do more buildup

Did you know that the fire giant burns very well if you use the right tool, so fast that in one AoW his phase 2 died in seconds, same for the elden beast

the buildup of the AoW is lower than hitting the target, it's still a Katana so it's good most of the time, but with the many debuff, split damage and mediocre buildup it's far worst that some in slot sombers or skills, but at low lvl it's still a shredder if you spam the AoW, like moonveil, bloodhound fang (for some reason) and so much loved PVE weapons

yeah, unless you get a team that can split the dogs up into 1v1s it can be hard, whenever im getting ganked i try to just run away that way they are at least all attacking from the same direction, instead of behind me

I like doing lvl 10,7 and 5 trio runs, so far i've done gladius, heolstor and everdark adel on level 5

we tried lvl 3 on everdark adel once, we got bad loot (no rot or poison) so we only reached half hp, fumbled on the double bite too (i could have retaliated but i wasnt the target </3)

i think next time ill equip starter weapon with poison

Adel is probably the best boss to try level 1 on first once you learn his grab timings
But yeah rot and poison are the play for him. He’s also considered a dragon, so if you’re run mountaintops and get the anti-dragon effect it’ll help

Start by doing lvl 10 max runs, then 7, and then lvl 5 max where the stragegies change a lot because you can only use gray/blue weapons and upgrade them

I can tell you as a guardian main myself that extended skill isn’t necessary. It’s entirely up to preference, as it doesn’t really extend the skill as much as it just changes it entirely. The default ability has pretty strong ariel knockback, and does more damage in the one tick than an individual tick of the longer version does. The extended version can destroy blocking enemies like banished or crucible knights, while also munching up the smaller enemies.
The basic version is good for a quick stun, while the extended version is good for a longer but weaker stun. Both of them suck against bosses.

Kinda, the dodge techniques you need to learn to steel guard effectively are very different from other characters

the biggest tip I can give is to use the direction of entering steel guard to your advantage. some stomps go over your block, so enter it backwards. some attacks knock you away so enter it forwards and stuff

Guardian’s biggest strength is his immense survivability (no surprise). A good bird isn’t trying to do the most damage, they are trying to make sure everyone else is not dying via drawing aggro and reviving allies so they can all preform at their best. The best bird players can almost guarantee a win with the right luck because death is a foreign concept to them.

Don’t force him to be a damage dealer. He isn’t built for it. Just block attacks and pull out the occasional guard counter to munch some poise every now and then.
