my argument was that him pausing for 10 seconds doesnt affect the fighting experience for the average player because after deflecting that attack, the player should retaliate and swing their sword since geni gets stunned. U disagreed, refuting my claim with the argument that, geni shouldnt pause there because he "has a combo" after that initial sword attack and that u should "stand still" and wait to deflect the rest of his incoming attack. I showed u that there is indeed not a combo following that attacl whether u deflect it or tank it. The initial deflect animations are similar, however, it is obvious as to what is going to happen afterwards. One is an obvious swing while the other is a seperate attack, as shown in this clip, is a kick, then perilous attack to be mikiri'd, but ive also experiences him backstepping then using his combat art on a long charge-up where he sheathes his sword

in every single clip, after 99% posture bug triggers, he stops completely, goes back to neutral, and does a combo starter

its not a bug or bad ai, that’s just how sekiro works. bosses have move flowcharts with openers/linkers/enders, and when you push isshin to super high posture the ai can force a reset to neutral so he can pick an opener instead of staying stuck in his old combo, it’s literally an anti-mash mechanic so you can’t just spam him for a free posture kill. ts is done intentionally by fromsoftware man @grand portal

there are 2 paths that lead AROUND the ballista that one shots with a large group of enemies behind them. sure its on the main path but you'd have to be stupid to not see the other ways to get past it. its not the intended path because the game is telling you to NOT go that way

Well it also scales with your AR so if you have 5-6 evergaols completed or get the township for ritual sword yes you can get even higher, but on this one I started off with a 2700 which is pretty good considering no ritual sword / magic scorpion

Recluse can hit pretty high if you stand on terra magica as well with that relic

Yeah I think Raider / Recluse are best in slot here for those reasons, the raider ult is also great to stand on to avoid bubbles + damage boost

I'd only recommend jumping the ones where he stomps the ground with his foot and spikes / shockwaves come out; the other ones are a bit more finicky and relies on position

jumping over the stomps always works if you time it right, so you don't need to worry about positioning and can enjoy your free jumping attack

1. why no misericorde?
2. can you fit in an r1 before he slams down on the strafe?
3. rolling the slam might let you get atleast another r1 after the cr2 if ur directly behind him which leads to him reposisioning which lets him lion claw or double slash (test this for me please i am going from memory)

That's because you don't know how to manage resources, I'm never running out of fp with revenant unless I'm the only source of damage in the team. Buy a pouch, always break boxes that can loot shards, try to loot at least 1 mage towers, buy shards from merchant if you are low on them and you will never run out. And don't spam draconic breaths they use way to much fp.

Didn’t say I ever run out of FP, just annoying to have to rely on Relics and items to play her. Not to mention her passive isn’t exactly the best against things like the Nightlord. I run FP restoration upon attacks on her so if I start running low I’m only 2 hits away from getting my FP back. It isn’t that she has bad FP it’s just annoying to get back.
