He is much, much harder to stagger than most bosses for some reason. He also just has a lot of health and does big damage too

but the moveset is simple. just stay on the back of his shield and he will do 180 shield slam all the time

I agree his moves are kinda simple. Main thing to watch out for is just the range on his big red swings.
But most bosses will stagger if you use a big ult on them, even major bosses. He usually does not which trips people up.

Not sure if it's an oversight on the dev's part or they just wanted to make him much harder. He's not impossible just harder than most expect.

Are you being intentionally disingenuous? To parry you have to enter parry stance. That's L2 + Y. After entering parry stance, you press L1 for any parry that didn't align with unsheathing. That's 3 inputs. Sekiro doesn't have the stance which means it's only L1 which is 1 input. Sprinting in sekiro didn't mean you had to re-enter the parry stance, what are you saying.

again, the boss in your video is for 1 person. your carrion slicer hits for 520, my crystal shotgun hits for 3200. Yours is faster, it is not 6x faster. Yours is close ranged so you have a lot of down time between damage whereas the shotgun can deal most of its damage from far away because the boss hitboxes are enormous. Like I said before duchess isn't bad... but the recluse has higher intelligence scaling so the same spells hit harder on her than they do on duchess. Duchess has pocket watch, and that's great, but recluse has unlimited mana and an ult that buffs her damage. So duchess is perfectly fine, as all the characters are, but she doesn't do as much damage as a recluse. So she's not "over powered" with carrion slicer. She's about average.

the revive ability of revenant is unmatched, summon sebastian/hellen and use one handed R1 with the cursed claws to revive triple down teammates in seconds. Better at carrying than guardian since revenant can actually solo dps aswell and doesnt always need the ult to revive unlike guardian
