that's exactly what i was doing by the way. I was saying some bosses have bad scaling like the bell bearing hunter, which from every time i've countered it it's incredibly tanky, and has incredibly large levels of poise. that guy's just getting mad because i had general criticism and i called out that his only argument was "skill issue". I never said i had issues dodging those bosses' attacks, just that the scaling (i.e. health, poise, damage) was a bit unbalanced. he's acting like this game is so unbelieveably different and that it's impossible for me to understand its mechanics after a few runs despite its not that dissimilar to elden ring which i have hundreds of hours in 😭

After more research, it seems that what makes the head pop off is doing too much damage to 1 side -> which causes this attack, which it seems is mostly undodgable

You are supposed to distribute damage to both sides, so that the head doesn't pop off

In all of the DS2 no hit runs, the head never pops off and it doesn't do this attack

The only thing is that instead of 35 infinitely respawning spiders, there seems to be like 5, and they're not respawning.

There are way more spiders in nightreign's version

I'm going to test if you can use a torch, and if it's possible to make the head not pop off

dunno if you still stuck but try to bait the gap closing attacks of his , both the dash and the plungle leave him vulnerable (sure he may get a hit after the plunge attack if you don’t position yourself good but it doesn’t do that much damage compared to other moves) i usually try to kill the dual swords at the start and then bait the dash attack of the sheild guy to get him away from neil

What made you pick libra for your run? I get why ironeye is a great choice but Libra seems so hectic to get a no hit on

very easy to no-hit with ironeye, not a super long fight where you can make a lot of mistakes like caligo.

I absolutely agree that libra is insanely hectic with the spam of AOE's and crazy stuff in vanilla 3's

But believe it or not, this is best in slot for this run at the moment, especially as iron eye

He's surprisingly easy solo, and rather predictable.

Has many self staggers and punishes with a ranged class like all of the phase transitions, scream attack, it's really not as bad as you might think.

I'm a huge fan of Elden Ring and I've recently started writing a fanmade DLC-style story inspired by the game.
