Hello I’m trying to grab an item, I’m the nameless eternal city, from the great waterfall crest grace, if you head straight to the trees that you have to cross over with the bugs and ants, there’s a cave just barely out of reach on the right in the middle, there’s a golden item there and what I know is that it’s an ancient dragon smithing stone or ancient somber dragon smithing stone, message me for pictures but how do I get it, I went along the wall trying to find entrance, both north and south, I found a bear in a cave and it has an entrance but it’s also out of reach

the entrance to that place is closer to the start of the area, follow some of the roots of the tree up to the cliff face and look for an opening

so with the image as reference it would be right of where u stand, its not super close so make sure to look across it all

You did REALLY good for most of that. What killed you there was the Magic Glintlbade it summoned which stunned you, and then you got hit by his sword afterward. If he summons one of those Glintblades then just focus on dodging until it's gone.

Also I STRONGLY recommend you leave and come back to this fight when you've leveled up more. I see your healing flask is only at +1. If you go south of Limgrave to the Weeping Peninsula, there are 3 churches there that each have a Sacred Tear you can use to upgrade your flasks more. There are also a bunch of smaller dungeons with easier bosses, which are a great way to get runes and smithing stones so you can level up and upgrade your weapons more. A big part of succeeding at this game is learning to "come back later" when an area/a boss is too tough for you. You should definitely focus on leveling up your Vigor before you try fighting this guy again. Btw, what level are you and what do you have the twinblade upgraded to?

Oh yes some of his attacks can be jumped, though I mostly just do it cuz it gives you a little speed boost. And you can dodge the swords by running to the side because they don't have great tracking, so they won't catch up to you if you run perpendicular to them. (just for the record, perpendicular is like this: +. Parallel is like this =. You want to run directly sideways if you get what I mean)

Yeah dude level 35 with a +5 weapon is pretty low. You should ABSOLUTELY go explore Weeping Peninsula, and more of Liurnia, before you come back to this guy, I promise it will be a better experience than fighting him for the next 3+ hours while underlevelled

Really your character level doesn't matter all that much, it's mostly based on your weapon upgrade level. You'll only find smithing stones to go up to about a +9 weapon across Limgrave, Weeping, and Liurnia, which is what you want to be at for the Red Wolf/Rennala fights
