Colosseum isn’t a DLC that’s the problem. It was an update not downloadable context because there is not a seperate file for the colosseum. So the lands between dlc couldn’t be the colosseum update. It’s literally called colosseum update not colosseum dlc

From soft even announced after the release of the colosseum update to “stay tuned this month more to come”

Not to mention they have also teased elden ring on PlayStation dashboard and Xbox before the games Initial release. So they’re obviously purposely telling us a dlc is coming lol

You said you are SAMURAI build. There are ALOT of diff katana's in game that req diff stats to wield. So make sure you always have at least enough to wield the weap you want. And enough endurance for your armor/weaps so you don't heavy roll. once you met the req 60vig is best to aim for always. After you hit 60vig just level the stat with best dmg scaling for your weap. Sry for long answer.

But this boss is kinda overkill when you think about it, its a good challenge but not a fair one compared to the laws other bosses follow

Her moves are fine, everything is reaction rollable / parryable but the mecanics are bad

I usually magic you'll have to excuse me for being unfamiliar with good poise damage.

Being able to escape a true combo by dashing out, being able to block anything with an animation cancel, crazy hyperarmor and superarmor that carries the fight even if she has low poise and stance,

Having to parry her 3 times for a riposte ? Sure that's actually fun and easy when you learn.

The regen ? Sure, her great rune's effect

But all together is too much with 2 hp bars and rot buildup if you are a casual player, at least i think

im pretty sure she has literally no poise stat so even a dagger or straight sword in your main hand while offhanding your staff would let you poke her inbetween her attacks

are you running light roll on your mage? i tend to find that the safest since it lets you out run her chase and Night Comet she wont evade since its invisible to the Boss AI

uhh yeah when you got that bigger spear youll just have to get used to poking at her holes in her attacks since you have the poise damage now

i recommend either using the running light or the rolling attack since those are faster startup then the greatspears base light attacks
