Well Marika does say a line saying something like "it's time to come, mine other self" to Radagon (if I remember correctly). But even this could be taken either as they were already connected or there is no merge yet and Radagon just thinks it's an invitation (especially since the concept of a spouse being referred to as "my other half" exists even in real life, usually in religion)

I think it makes sense that Marika and radagon were always one, as it seems every empyrean has two personalities. Malenia has herself as the blind swordswoman and the goddess of rot, miquella has himself and st Trina, ranni has 2 faces, so it seems that to become a God you need 2 separate personalities, which would mean that radagon was always marika

We don't know if the second face is actually a second personality/being. And with Malenia, I didn't think it was really about two personalities. I thought the Outer God, the true Rot God, basically invaded and took Malenia as a vessel.

If you translate the Godskin Apostle and Noble's boss themes from Latin to english, it is quite disturbing. About defeating the Gods and taking their skin, search it up, it's pretty interesting

There's also a cut npc who was supposed to be bernhald's maiden, who tried to make herself into kindling for the erdtree but failed. I know it's cut content, but I think this implies that in order to burn the erdtree, the kindling needs to have some connection to a higher power

So anyways a lil bit of lore. Her name is Rachu, Conqueror of Distant Realities and Faint Planets. Born from an asteroid, she travelled the stars, visiting worlds that none could ever imagine. However, on her way back from a battle she had partaken in on a prehistoric planet, Radahn stopped the movement of the stars. Weakened, she had no energy to attempt to keep moving thus was stuck in space. Miserable, she stopped her heart and entered a deep slumber, a temporary death, waiting to someday either fully die or continue her movement. Years later, Radahn is defeated in the festival, Rachu still wouldn't stir from slumber and was carried down to a new world.

Ahah, yeah. She does have a death, however

She ends up becoming completely obssesed with Ranni, killing all the Tarnished that try and complete her questline. She goes so far as to murder other npcs. Trapped in a world not her own, she goes insane, Ranni is appalled, and kills her after Rachu's attempt to destroy Raya Lucaria.

Yeah, though it was futile. She sent a herd of fallingstar beasts to attempt to detroy the seal. Obviously, Raya Lucaria houses Ranni's mother, her scheme was to kill her and frame a tarnished. Driving Ranni away from the tarnished and towards her

Ranni doesnt even finish the job, she leaves Rachu to bleed out and suffer from her injuries.

Yeah, when she dies, she sorta fades away like dust and reforms into the sky as star. Which then explodes into new stars and planets. Basically, she's an ancient cosmic entity that stems from other ancient cosmic entities

I'll try and get a screenshot of her, I don't have a name for the sorta species/race. However they have horns like that of the fallingstar beasts. They're sorta linked to the ancestral followers.

Their hair colours depend on the asteroid they were born in. Rachu has blonde hair, so she was born in an Rutalic Asteroid. The inside of that asteroid is plated in gold and quartz.

Largely just because she basically sentenced Radahn, a general widely acclaimed as honorable and venerated, to a fate worse than death: losing his mind and scavenging the dunes to survive (not to mention turning Caelid into a post-apocalyptic wasteland with the rot, which the Redmane soldiers have devoted their lives to stopping).

Btw I'm not gonna get into a discussion rn about why Radahn wasn't actually that good or why Malenia isn't that bad, I'm not saying Malenia is a big bad villain. Other than the Battle of Aeonia, she doesn't seem horrible
