Oh YESS the mjolnir is beautiful, i see what you mean. The glowing is very majestic

The rendering is very nice. You can definitely eventually start applying it in some fashion to characters, and maybe even using that skill of drawing glows to perhaps on eyes!

So the rendering here was all done literally by applying a bloom effect, the runes were turned up to eleven in a separate layer

I play modded so I chose a bit of a different look for her rather than the vanilla but its the same character really, very little difference. Vanilla just makes her eyes look like a smoker who just quit and they’re green (since shes a Nord imho the Blue eyes fit better, just head canon in short)

And thats why Im grateful to art the most, it helps me deal with my perfectionism and ocd somewhat, it taught me that I cant always expect perfection because, well, the human body for one isnt perfectly symmetric. Theres a lot one can learn from doing these types of passion projects and I can say first hand, art, just like games helps drown out some of lifes common worries 😌

Oh yes absolutely! I think to myself that with art there is no rules. There is fundamentals, yes, but ultimately there is no limit with what you can do and that’s the beauty of art. It’s what comforts me in turning any of the imaginations of the things i love into reality with my own unique touch to it🥹 and with that Art doesn’t have to be perfect. i have also always been too much of a perfectionist but i realized that it doesn’t have to always be that way, and instead of focusing on that one very obscure detail on the drawing that absolutely no one will notice, always just look at the artwork as a whole, fully zoomed out, what is the overall first impression, etc

It's funny you ask that because these pieces usually take me about 8 hours (spread over several days, since I work on multiple projects simultaneously). Then, producing the images only takes up 20% of my working time; the rest goes to logistics and administration: online stores, shipping, and things like the tax hell that is Spain, where I am right now.

i think the color palette does resemble the haligtree more than leyndell ure right. i couldnt get the lime yellowy hue to look good so i went for a warmer tone instead. good catch!
