late reply but guidelines help a lot to get proportions right! if you look at godrick's body and try to divide it in shapes and then draw those shapes and work them out more bit by it you can get the proportions way better! mostly just practice though, the more you draw the better oyu get, like any skill. thats definitely a good start though, i could instantly recognize that it's godrick
