But hey, there’s a solution! There are plenty of servers for AI generated images you can join. Just don’t join art servers for posting art by people or you’ll get the same reaction as you did here every single time. Some places you’ll get an insta-ban.

It’s okay if you want to generate images. I don’t mind. Most people won’t either. But like I said, don’t call it your art and don’t call it art because you did not create it. It is not your property or your work. It is the work of people all over the internet, and the work of a machine who did the real work.

Someone said it earlier which was actually really good. AI generated images are like choosing the pizza toppings and having someone else make the pizza. Then you go home to your pizza-loving friends and say “I cooked this pizza.” Of course you didn’t cook the pizza, you just made a choice on how you want it to look and stood back and watched as someone else made it look that way for you.

I acknowledge the fun in creating AI generated images. It lets you create things that would take years of practice on your own to create. All most people will ask is for you to acknowledge the fact that AI cannot make original images, and must take them from somewhere else. That somewhere else is an artist who likely did not give their consent for their art to be used that way.

Say whatever rebuttal you want, just please acknowledge the fact that it’s insulting to many artists for you to use AI images, and try to understand their point of view. That’s the most anyone could ever ask someone, and what you choose to do with this is up to you. You don’t have to agree, just show some respect

AI art just sucks, it ain't that deep. One is generated at the click of a button and the other is honed over years of practice and each piece can take a couple hours if not more. It isn't really comparable
