Rapiers were always a bladed weapon, but the newer ones(during that time of course)were actually curved slightly so it was easier to unsheath while on horseback without hurting yourself or the horse like a complete moron

I tried to, but centaurs are extremely difficult to rig as far as I know. I was able only to make it decent for some simple poses
