it’s a very good starting point so you can draw inspiration from the geography you made like why did these 2 empires fight or why are they good at this one thing

like you can use a river or good farm land as a reason to fight and have a culture made out of hunters or other stuff and the depth you can get is greater if it’s a fantasy

you can place rare reasorses which could make an empire rich or have really strong gear idk i think it’s very important to start with a map

These images do not come from thin air, it is the culmination of millions of people not compensated or given any kind of consent.

I think that the thing that irritates people more about AI is that the best ones costs. Rightfully, the creators put some effort to make it, and it is right for it to be compensated. It is a service after all.
But at the same time, it is not rightful for those people making money off of people's work. If those datas didn't exist, then the AI wouldn't exist itself. And obviously is difficult to pay every single person that the AI takes art from (and surely the guy that made the AI wouldn't care to pay them because yk, a cost).

I think i would love the idea of an AI art if a group of people was hired to create artworks, paid for them, and a team makes an AI that uses those drawings

Yes, humans made it but the creation needed the datasets of millions of people. All without compensation. Heck, OpenAI's CEO is threatening to remove his service from the EU, all for wanting transparency on copyrighted data. It's not even just artwork btw, your biometrics, photos, medical records. Are all in those datasets. That's why deepfakes are so easily made from these datasets. So it's a security risk too. Plus, that's not even tackling the slave labor aspect with sweatshops in Kenya.

Every single one is created by stealing/scrapping data from millions of people. Not just artwork from your favorite artists but biometrics, medical records, and other personal effects these companies use to profit. This has the trickle effect of these same models being used to create deepfakes used to impersonate people. These images do not come from thin air, it is the culmination of millions of people not compensated or given any kind of consent. Don't support Midjourney, they are one of the worst. The AI models are created with actual slave labor in countries like Kenya where folks are exposed to CP, Gore, and other stuff.

I use an app called leonardo for that one. You can give your own pictures an make a model with it which I did with like 40 in game screenshots that also consisted on the loading screen stuff. Well true, but don't artists get inspired by other artists or sometimes even copy their work even a little bit? Anyhow it's the same rule as always if you don't want it to be leaked, just don't put it on the internet. You never know where your info will end up. It's like an OF model complaining that their pics are still on the internet after they closed down their account and all. You are also responsible for what you upload on the internet and if you want it to be secured, it's on you to come up with the means like having a secure website to protect them. Anyhow loads of comapnies leak, sell, or get their data hacked on a daily basis. Critical info like your biometrics or bank accounts etc... are more important than art or digital picture on the internet and we have struggled for a long time to keep them protected and we've failed mostly. It's not a new thing

Current AI systems work similar to money laundering, you steal the cash and instead of using it as is, you invest it or repurpose slowly to not make a trail. The current big models are not. I mention slave labor in Kenya due to OpenAI employing them to shift through data containing that data. They suffer so you don't. However, due to the API being shared on github, many models are created to do just that.

And considering the foundational models already have your biometrics, your little sister, lots of young folks, medical records, all that jazz. Just train it on new material to nudge it to the right direction and bam. You have a pretty awful tool right there.

Every single one is created by stealing/scrapping data from millions of people. Not just artwork from your favorite artists but biometrics, medical records, and other personal effects these companies use to profit. This has the trickle effect of these same models being used to create deepfakes used to impersonate people. These images do not come from thin air, it is the culmination of millions of people not compensated or given any kind of consent. Don't support Midjourney, they are one of the worst. The AI models are created with actual slave labor in countries like Kenya where folks are exposed to CP, Gore, and other stuff.
