It happened to me three times fighting the Full-Grown Fallingstar Beast. It took 3-5 minutes to summon a random every attempt because people would beat each other to the summon signs. You’d just get a message saying “Unable To Summon” and then be forced to wait again. Imagine waiting literal minutes, longer than the GTA V loading screen to find somebody, then being invaded mid boss fight. Makes me mald. Seethe even.

You can’t damage Renalla in her shield but you can kill the crawling children. However, they will keep respawning infinitely. What you have to do is find the one child that is singing and has a yellow aura around them and hit them. If you do this 3 times Renalla’s shield will break and she will drop to the floor giving you some time to attack her before getting her shield back.

Take any weapon with innate bleed (There are plenty) and add Frost affinity. Pretty easy, but I have found that Frost build up does not seem to scale with arcane so it'd be fuctionally better to go for poison; However, Frost and Bleed both are really good so if you go for a split of int/arcane it'd be pretty good.

Ngl, I love that From finally allowed us to add our own Bleed, Frost, or Poison with affinities.

Fromsoft had wise insight not to allow the timeline where there is a whetblade that brought forth the affinities for Sleep, Scarlet Rot, Madness, and Death. Lol
Particularlly the Scarlet Rot or Sleep ones. XD
Imagine Scarlet Rotting and Bleeding someone at the same time, just a flat percent of their max hp gone with percents getting chunked away with each passing second.

Well, I should say, any ability to passively add the Instant Kill Status Affliction would never be done. lol
That would just be... Intensely broken in PVP. Especially with some builds.

@last dune idk if you have found the scorpion stinger weapon and reduvia's blood blade. but those 2 daggers together is pretty dirty. im not much of a daggers guy but i used those two against some dungeon bosses and their hp's just dropped. and bad part is no stagger on bigger enemys for daggers.

I used the Scorpion Stinger a lot when I'm trying to take on thick health bar boys, but more recently I've switched to, well, Dragon Incantations... cause they just are so much quicker. XD
Plus I already have my UGS which I can powerstance to almost get one shot bleeds while still doing pretty good damage or my normal Greatswords which I powerstance to do an intensely high amount of damage with the bonus of decently high frost.

You can use the Immolation spell to apply it to enemies or the deathbed dress to apply it to allies, but it still is an active buff that you have to apply and isn't just there always with no fp cost for ever.

There is a glitch currently where active weapon buffs (The ones that apply an affect onto your weapons) can be applied through the immolation spell or the Deathbed dress to curse hosts and invaders Very quickly due to a quirk with how the "On hit" effect registers.

Either time and patience, Mimic with cheese, or a good ol chum to do some jolly cooperation with and juggle the grand beast's attention till you get em done and duster. I recommend using attacks with a bit of range on them so it's easier to catch up to em.

@warm ibex I would recommend if you are starting at base level of a character to basically just hunt bosses for the most part, they provide decent enough souls. If you run out of bosses, you can also either do some Coop or invasions to get them, but if those aren't an option I would recommend either one of the popular farming method or heading far west to hunt Vulgar Militia members.
