I don't think I ever Didn't have fun fighting him. I wish he had more moves that could be parried. I think some of the things mesmer does in the fight is straight criminal. I don't feel as though I had to tango with that as much because tank build 200 stamina. He would put screen vomit up to conceal what he was doing. It didn't catch me nearly as often because I had the shield however if you count on rolling that wouldn't be fun.

The hard part isnt the boss fight, i beat godrick first try. The hard part is every single time i die, i need to run from godricks bossroom to renallas boss room on foot with invasions on. For PVE frenzy is just an orange flame (unless you fight and invader or NPC where it shines)
Tbh frenzy incants are very strong

Indeed they are very strong, unfortunately for me I don’t know how to optimise anything and I’m horrible at using one handed and two handed great spear movesets

I should prolly bump my str up to 30 instead of 20, gotta show them that I’m buff for a reason

pro tips, the warspear is bad XD
I would recomend being a pure caster if you plan on doing a frenzy run
The spear is optinal and if you have the DLC you get a fist weapon that is okay tier imo

I learned first hand that the spear is bad, but I’ve used it as my only melee option for the most part due to it being involved with frenzy and that I suck at fighting Mohg, so I’m prolly gonna beat him to death with my new star fists

well i think mogh is resistant to fire to some degree, so it's a very inneficient weapon for this peculiar fight
Maybe you could take a look to weapons that are not in game tied to frenzy but that could be? ex. weapon design to make the target suffer like a thorn whip, you can remove the status if you want and still have a physical option despite it not being great

Alr, so I’ll allow anything that basically allows great suffering, since I am horrible at pure caster lol, I couldn’t find a proper consistent opening on Margit for the life of me, and star fists included cuz the fists are based

I could try to make it a kind of frenzy and partially destined death build since both do the same thing in a different way in lore

frenzy dosen't really kill stuff, it consume them, death is litteraly burning their life, so it's close, but not enough imo, but the black knife would be a great weapon if you struggle with the pure caster
Funny enough i did a mage run to test the high lvl spells, dans for most of the time i use the carian knight sword because it was going wild XD, anyway i also did the +6 preboss so margit got 2 shooted by the skill 🤷

In lore from what I can tell frenzy consumes and technically burns souls essentially removing them from existence, and destined death and black flame literally burn the soul deep enough where nothing can resist it, even those who wield it, I mean we saw what it did to poor godwyn, frenzy wouldve just burned his entire body (and soul) tho, so I see frenzy as a get rid of everything type of soul burn and black flame/destined death as a more focused and efficient soul burn
