Actually it's really not bad, good for PVE and PVP.

Doesn't grab regular enemies unfortunately but the follow up is pretty nice and the moveset isn't bad either.

Not the best weapon for PVE but it was really good for this specific fight because the enemies literally couldn't do anything about it.

At least now we know why Marika hates Omens, dudes offed her entire village. At least Godfrey liked his sons equally. You can also see when entering his bossfight in the cutscene his grace points towards you. The tarnished is his last boss fight

Omens were shunned greatly but it was Morgott's mission to be protector but he disliked greatly that he was Omen (to the point he used the veil to change his form as he guarded) so it is no surprise he would've done anything to supress his form (and you can see he has horns chopped off from his face)
Mohg didn't give af and just let his horns go out of control which is why he has so many, even eating his own eyeball out -
I guess the tl;dr here is that Mohg was fine with his form and let it be him and Morgott had some form of dysphoria?
Though seeing the current lore, Mohg was never that evil; he just wanted to disappear and do his own dynasty and ||got charmed by Miquella, who used him to transfer Radahn's form over to the land of shadows|| and Morgott as we know, failed his quest.
