Yeah, DS1 and 2 looked pretty damn bad from a fidelity standpoint compared to their contemporaries. DS2 went up against Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor and Dragon Age Inquisition for GOTY iirc, and it looks waaay older than those 2. Still not the best in business, but it's been respectable since DS3.
