i mean thats on you I think, the most important part with malenia is taking advantage of baiting her and keeping ur range, she is a very forgiving opponent in terms of keeping ur distance she will not attack if you stay away on a certain range which gives you a window to cast incantations heal up or just use flasks in general.. and if you are on mid range and bait you can get a ton of good punishes if you know where she doesnt have hyper armour (attacks during which she cannot be stance broken or interrupted -> essentially just dodge its not worth getting oneshot) but yea thats it

But second run? I got the boss in like 2-3 tries...
