The only downside is mildly inefficient stat allocation compared to other classes for many builds

Elden ring was something I really looked forward to, I remember it releasing close to my birthday and the pure joy I felt as it downloaded was thrilling. After a few weeks of playing, getting stuck and trying to move past it, I found that I began to really hate the game, each boss seemed to undermine the lessons I had learnt through playing, their flashy movesets making everyattempt more difficult to get throughtas I struggled to understand when to dodge.

For the past few years since its released ive had a staunch hatred for it. Seeing all the joy and love people have for the game however makes me wish i could love it too.

Elden Ring was my first fromsoft game and despite having it gifted to me I’d pay to experience it for the first time again, I loved the world and everything was exciting to go discover and I felt I caught on fairly quickly, since then I’ve adored all the bosses and currently questing to no hit every single one of them
Elden Ring also inspired me to play Dark Souls 3 which has also been a pretty amazing game and a breath of fresh air since I cranked 800+ hours into ER
