Normally you need both halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion, you have to beat Morgott, unlock the Mountaintops, get the second half in Castle Sol, and solve the Snowfields puzzle before you can enter the Haligtree. You also usually need two shardbearers like Godrick or Rennala to even enter Leyndell.

But in his run he seems to reach the Haligtree and unlock the Site of Grace near Malenia very early, without beating Godrick or Rennala first and without the usual medallion progression.

Is he using a glitch, wrong warp, zip, or some other skip, and if so which one exactly?

its very important once he gets to unus the second phase transitions via NIHIL

so I had to fight mogh without any physic, and basically, heal through nihil + no shackle
