A message to this film:
This movie means so much to me. When I was 10 years old in theaters in 2016, I saw it with my father the day it came out as an early birthday gift. We bonded over Angry Birds to begin with, so it was a special gift. Ever since the first day I watched that film, there hasn’t been a year where I haven’t rewatched it. This year in particular is special for it. Leonard himself is the reason why I love this movie so much. However, I love more than just him about it; the scenery, the animation, the world building, the score… I love everything about it.
This movie introduced me to my favorite actor of all time, Bill Hader, and I started learning more about him and watching more films and even series that he’s been in. Needless to say, he has become a comfort actor in a way. Most things he is in are comforting to me, and I can thank The Angry Birds Movie for that. I love this movie, and I hope others love it as much as I do, as well. It means a lot to me. It’s been a coping film for me, and a comfort. Thank you for a decade of loving this film, Columbia Pictures and Rovio Entertainment.
