I honestly think that AB Reloaded has reused so many seasons levels to the point where they're essentially just remastering the game and locking the game behind a subscription service (apple arcade). This is especially strange, seeing as how Rovio has "no interest" in bringing back the classics anymore... but then why do they insist on practically porting the entire game into Reloaded?

I think it's because they can't escape their past. No matter how hard they try to hide it, there's no doubt that Rovio's entire reputation nowadays is built on pure nostalgia and they know it. There were never any major bugs with the now-delisted classic games that I could see (except for bad piggies, but that was re-listed and they patched the bug later.), and if it was "hard to keep updating the games" then they could've just stopped updating them. In my opinion, there was no reason for them to delist the games that without, they wouldn't have fans to pander to today.

2. Rovio really did ignore OG fans to make sure casual "whales" stay in their games.
3. This "double game" Rovio has been doing is proving, that it doesn't care about the OG fans.

First they say they "want everyone, including OGs like the new games"

Hot take: I think Rovio uses Bird Island way too much. Why not use Piggy Island like in the old days. It has much more Island diversity than Bird Island. There is Hog Head Mountain, Crown Mountains, Cobalt Plateau, Desert Island, ect. While Bird Island has basically only the city, Forest, and Eagle Mountain.

I second this but I'm not mad about them using bird island as I like it too. Piggy Island has more interesting places tho but I love the idea of the birds having their own island tho that they live in. It makes more sense sometimes

Wholeheartedly agree with this. The birds having their own island trivialises the tension that was found in the classic dimension imo, as the birds don't have to keep moving to avoid the pigs and the pigs have much less flexibility in how they steal the eggs.

After thinking about my updated thoughts on the series for a while, I'm just gonna say this; On The Run isn't that good

Even in Season 1

It is a guilty pleasure of mine admittedly, but its way more flawed than I remember

The first season has some very weird plot holes and inconsistencies

For starters, there are multiple points where humans very clearly see the birds, such as when they ride that random guy's dog or when some people on the beach** literally use them as volley balls**. And yet, we never see these people reporting sightings of the angry birds...ever

Nobody ever goes "Wait, those are the birds from the missing game!!!!"

And then there's another plot hole in the season 1 finale, where apparently the girl had the game on her iPad the whole time, bringing into question why she didn't make the birds go into the iPad first, which can get them back into the game faster

They really did not need to chase after the pigs to get the phone back if it was this easy

Also, did the birds and pigs get out of the game in the same time or not?

If they did, why didn't we see them coming out of the game too in the first episode? Where did they even end up in the first place?

And how did the birds even get out of the game in the first place?

Aside from that, the show also relies on a lot of "fish out of water" humor with the characters not knowing a bunch of human things

And, while it can be funny, it mostly isn't

And then we to season 2, which is an absolute mess

I have ranted about this awful season so many times already especially in the wiki, but I'll restate my opinions here

The season is rife with almost nothing but filler, basically, nothing happens until the third-to-last episode, where they literally just have the characters do an off-screen reunion because they now just relized how much time they wasted.

And then there are the plot holes, this season has SO many plot holes

First of all, apparently the IPad can just magically teleport the birds, pigs AND itself to entirely separate places, all because it "malfunctioned"

Even though that completely contradicts season 1

And then there is the fact that Stella and Matilda are somehow there too, which, how the heck did THEY get out of the game too?!

Can the birds just get out of the game whenever they feel like it???

And then there is Chuck's betrayal in season 2, which makes literally no sense

Chuck goes from good to evil in literally ONE episode, for basically no reason

Ok, there is a reason, but its stupid

Chuck claims that Red never treated him like a "real friend" even though that makes no sense because Red treated him perfectly fine in season 1, aside from getting annoyed with his antics

It feels like the writers realized this season has no conflict so far, so they just pull this plot line out of nowhere and expected it to work

So ya, that's my updated thoughts on OTR

I personally think that ab friends levels are getting kinda repetitive now. Many levels now are either
-fling wingman with power potion to clear a level
-fling hal backwards hit a switch that makes diamonds fall

• make a bird go into a extra tight spot that is almost impossible to get on the first try (not good for daily challenge)
  -use chuck or matilda to clear a top row of balloons and make the structures (usually filled with diamonds) to fall
• diamond inflation. so many diamonds are in levels now that they dramatically spike up the 3 star score

Season 1 was good for Stella but then Season 2 kinda sucked.

Season 1 and 2 were good (mainly Season 1) for Angry Birds Toons, but then Season 3 kinda sucked.

Season 1 and 2 were good for Piggy Tales. I honestly enjoyed Season 3, but to be fair, it's decent. I haven't watched Season 4.
