i used csp but yea photoshop works too
any software with a pressure sensitive eraser works

also i recommend you do the strokes first before the tolerance

you dont need to fill anything as far as im aware

the only filling i really do is for props for slight transparency

Render jones (preferably chapter 2 jones since thats the one in the newer official icons)
import TRANSPARENT picture into Photoshop or any drawing software
Stroke with eraser
raise the brightness all the way up and contrast all the way down
