well, as mentioned in the modmail, we have already alerted the player about not confirming the match and are putting it in our preliminary verifications so that it'll be corrected in your favor
that should mostly be that however, there is no need to be any more aggressive to the opponent after it's all said and done. another option you could've chosen instead of pairing up with this player is to mutually agree to cancel, and you both would not have to worry about being paired up again since we allow a max of 2 repeats when matchmaking

it's sorta a case by case basis, we do generally like to discourage cancellations of rounds 'just cuz'; but mainly we like to see discussion with the opponent in chat saying if there is an emergency or technical issue that has happened and they can't continue playing the game because of it
I think preferably tho, it's best to ask us in qixing about the reason for cancel, or just ping us with '@ Genuis Invokator' in the chat if you want us to handle it quicker

An issue i see with ctg is that there is too many gray lines in ruling
For example cancelling is “discouraged”
Participating in multiple regions is “discouraged”
Screen sharing is “discouraged”
I think it would be beneficial to more explicitly state the rules in future ctg tournaments because for example some players are participating in multiple ctg and might make it into serious showdown depending on how the rules are interpreted, while others like myself are sacrificing the chance to play in multiple ctg tournaments because i dont want to be potentially dqed from serious showdown, however if multiregioners make it then i would feel kinda dumb not also playing in multiple regions

What's the current best deck?
I mostly just play Raiden, xiangling, nahida during the tournament
It's quite good, but based on my experience, the deck is too dependent on certain cards

I tried finaly, but I feel the deck is very dependent on good dice, I lost several times because I don't have enough usable dice
Or maybe it's just my skill issue

Maybe Fischl Nahida Lyney, I only use that for 4 days on the tournament, and I only lost to well piloted Yelan OTK & Bennett overload, I won against everything else against Finaly mirror, LS, MEW, Nilou bloom etc etc
It is kind of dependent to dices, I usually just use Gilded or sacrifice something though
