you can just make it a competitive queue like other online games, with a rating system

and to make sure ratings are stabilized, the requirement of playing at least 10 matches (which is currently used for the Welkin raffle only) would be enforced so anyone who wants to get into knockouts will have to play at least 10 matches

And I think the rating system is bad like There are some strong players with low rating just because they haven't played much, and if we have high rating, playing against them is very risky higher chance we will lose our rating

tbh though I think CTG and TCG esports might actually be ending, if next seasons are just like this

no way people are playing if there's no tangible rewards until 16 wins; and to make matters worse, most people don't care about TCG anyway

at least the Welkin raffle requirements force people to play 10 matches

which, if anything, eases some people into playing TCG regularly

now there's no forced number of matches, and prizes are literally lackluster unless you're a top player

the only thing that may keep some players playing is the ability to enter what is possibly the first international event (the "Prince Cup Grand Tournament"), but even then it's only for top players
