Based on the information provided by HoshinoAi and Kaicho, as well as the findings on our end, we can confirm that these players are 2 separate players. While their behaviors can make it sound like they're boosting each other, it's very convincing that they're not the same player on the other side of the screen.
See below for the information and findings:

• Pronouns:
  • HoshinoAi: She/Her
  • Kaicho: He/Him
• Social media channels:
  • HoshinoAi: Instagram: @suzy_vvv
  • Kaicho: Twitch/YouTube/Twitter: @kaichoTCG
• Number of Preliminary Rounds being played at relatively the same time, and the results are wins on both HoshinoAi's and Kaicho's side: at least 4 throughout all tournaments held in the Tavern.
• Verification livestream brief: throughout the entire match duration, HoshinoAi showed at the camera the table about once per turn. Her facial expression and eyes movement showed that she did focus on the game at hand. She was also very cooperative and willing in terms of having this verification process made.
• Additional findings:
  • Her facial characteristics also align with her Instagram profile picture.
  • Her voice is that of a girl.

Hi, can I clarify something? I noticed in the rules that there was no mention of this, and you seemed to skim over it regarding this incident. What is the stand on other players backseating players during matches? Backseating here refers to the player receiving help from other people during a match. The fact that both kaicho and hoshinoai have similar gameplay and character loadout as mentioned by other players is pretty heavy evidence of this, but I don’t see it being addressed at all. This was something that I always wondered and I thought it would be a good opportunity to bring it up.

I think that if your stand is against backseating, action should be taken against these 2 individuals, as just character loadout is pretty significant evidence, disgregarding play style. with 3 characters, there is a 1/6 chance of them being in the same order, and with 3 decks, it becomes a 1/216 chance, not even counting the possibilities of them running variations of the deck like putting Klee instead of agent in keqing overload or kokomi instead of Barbara in double hydro itto.

Overall I’ve always had questions about this, especially when I have experienced players have reached out to me in DMs asking me to coach them during a match and me not being able to give a solid answer due to the ambiguity. Thank you
