Whether that's due to the rerunning card back, different metas, waning interest in the CTG, waning interest in the TCG, or something else, I'm not sure.

I started playing in 2023 S5, which I also felt had many more people than this tournament, despite also featuring a rerunning card back (Dragonspine: Traces).

But in order to win the cardback, all you need is to win three out of those 35 games in the preliminary phase, and you get a few primogems for each win even if you don't make the top 16
