Mavuika has a much higher dps ceiling than Skirk

though much of that is locked behind learning her advanced combos, for overload, or getting melts (with Citlali)

Mav also has great overworld mobility, being able to fly and ride her bike on any terrain (including briefly over water and up the side of a 90° cliff)

I don't think you'll regret getting Escoffier in the long run. getting Skirk without her isn't great, so maybe go for Esco first

there are basically three options:

• chevreuse overload teams (you don't own chevreuse it seems)
• melt teams
• vape teams

there's also mono pyro, but it's usually worse unless the enemy is weak to it in some way

chevreuse overload is basically what monopyro is but better

a team that's based on buffing rather than reactions

melt is mainly good with Citlali
without Cit, it's about as good as vape afaik

vape with Xingqiu struggles a bit because Arle wants short rotations and Xq has long cooldowns

maybe Mona, Fischl, Bennett could be okay

my preferred choice would be Durin Chevreuse Fischl, as it doesn't force you to always run Bennett with Arle
but you can also build your account around Bennett not being available

Arle teams without Chevreuse usually want Bennett

Esco without Skirk has some limited use (Neuv freeze, 2 cryo Mavuika team)
and there's the potential to work with future cryo carries

but if you're sure you can't get both, it might be better to skip and go for another team
