You really do at least need ineffa is you want to use bineffa core, lauma if you want to play as a on field DPS, or one of the other nod krai 5* dpses if you want a support (in which case ineffa for flins or lauma for nefer would be better than pulling columbina)

If you're interested in zibai, she should be okay with bina given what we've seen from creator experience server

It's not even funny how lauma adds like 32k/CA tick to her base 9k/tick damage

Basically almost a five fold increase in damage, granted it's slightly lower bc you won't buff every hit but I digress

You can pair her with any other nod krai units for example aino who you get for free. The more units in the party that are from nod krai the higher the moonsign/buff of the party. You can read about that buff on the party set up screen in the top right

You don’t necessarily need to pair her with a nod krai units tho. You can just pair her with a electro dendro or Geo character. The lunar reactions she enables only works with those elements

Nod krai characters can raise the team buff but tbh bina is so good I’m not having big issues just having her solo on a team. So up to you tho I would aim for 2 nod krai characters but it’s not the end of the world without

Btw if you’ve recently hopped back into the game, you might not know but some older mond characters got buffed. You need to complete a short mini quest for each character to get the buff. They’re called Hexarai buffs. So some of your older units may be buffed since you last played

you really want to be doing direct lunar damage, which only nod krai characters can do

I'm using the trial Nefer and Lauma as well as the most suitable Hydro chars I have available (unfortunately my options may be less than ideal because I'm not finished raising my Columbina and haven't gotten around to raising my Aino at all yet), but I can't seem to do enough Lunar-Bloom to the Stoneborne Seeds to knock the crab out of the air. Ineffa shouldn't interefere with reactions no, but you're losing DEF/EM buff on Zibai without geo/hydro teammate
Illuga can probs just run 2p2p EM to maximize his quill buffs

alternatively you run Aubade bina and have Illuga on SMS (only works if Illuga is c2+)
