for Raiden, it's difficult to make her work as a carry. Your best bet is c6 Chevreuse + Durin + .. I guess Fischl for Hex resonance? Then probably stop there.. A wide char pool is more important than vertical investment, even though the team kinda needs the help
You can also go for Lauma and make it a hyperbloom team with Raiden off-field. She's not really that much better than Kuki there, though.

as for Nahida, she has mostly been replaced by Lauma in her previous main teams (bloom reactions)
there's Nefer Lauma lunar bloom with Nahida as the last member, but it's probably not as good as vertical investment on Nefer / Lauma if you don't already have Nahida.

not really, no. both basically cover electro DPS when you need them (though different team archetypes)
it's not the worst idea to have multiple DPS of same element (especially if they use diff teams) but I'd personally get DPS of other elements I don't have yet
