I actually regret most of the weapon pulls I did early on
weapons you have to pull are vertical investment

damage oriented weapons (as opposed to support ones) are only worth it on chars with high team dmg share
so look up how team dps increases with the pull, not personal dps

I pulled Staff of Scarlet Sands for Xiangling because I read it was her best in slot
it is like 0.5 - 5% better than "the catch"

I pulled Kagura's Verity for Nahida, who does not have high team dps share

those were some of my early mistakes

if you're considering to get something like Flins sig, compare its team dps increase to that from getting c1

it's a similar investment to pulling a constellation, and usually the weapon banner is paired with a second weapon that doesn't do as much for you

also, they buffed bloom and burgeon, reducing the recoil damage by 60%

you don't need to do the archon quest to unlock Natlan sigil rewards, just get to the location and it'll unlock

then you'd need to grind Natlan chests and oculi to get the sigils

you can also convert it from other sigil types, or get it from weekly bosses

the weekly bosses also don't require beating the archon quest, you can use the quick challenge option in the book menu
