Albedo was quite relevant some patches ago, especially lore-related (aside that he's still niche), but he got new artifact set to play with him.

Zhongli's shield is still the best in-game. Layla coming second.

and yeah, materials are different. Act 1 are for Lauma. Act 2 are for Flins.

you need to do Quick Start on act I, then you enable focused mode, clear Act 1 (can be done in a couple hours), then go ahead and do act II (it takes another couple hours)

technically you'll spend around 4-6 hours doing the current Nod Krai quests via Quick Start + Focused mode.
