take my Mavuika for example:

Flower: 2x crit rate + 3x crit dmg + 1x EM = 6 useful substat rolls
Plume: 8 useful subs
Sands: 7 useful subs
goblet: 5 useful subs
circlet: 8 useful subs

if you want an even better evaluation, that'd be the "roll value"

but for eyeballing it, count rolls

getting another roll of atk% would be +1.31% damage

but note how 2* 1.31% is still more than 2.14%

so two rolls of atk% still beat one roll of crit dmg

if it was 3 atk% vs 2 crit dmg, it might be a different story
but that's getting into optimizer territory
