theres no reason to play baizhu here, hes significantly worse in that slot over fischl

Clorinde without high investment is essentially glued to fischl for all of her teams, as she is balanced around the existance of fischl

overload aggravate and quickbloom perform pretty sameish on paper, and will pull ahead of each other depending on matchup, taser becomes competetive with furina investment or inn aoe

I think there are two questions:
(1) what would be optimal, if the artifacts we have allow it
(2) what to do in practice, when they don't

my answer to (1):

• if you have 75% crit rate and 200% crit dmg, that's a 75% chance to deal +200% damage
• calculating the average here, it's 0.75 * 200 = +150%
• let's say you get another substat, would you rather it be 3.9% crit rate or 7.8% crit dmg?
• 0.789 * 200 = 157.8
• 0.75 * 207.8 = 155.85
• as you can see, since we're below a 1:2 ratio here, investing crit rate makes the number go slightly higher
• so CR is slightly better than CD here
• but the difference is small enough that if you have one piece with CD instead of CR, but an extra roll of atk%, that'll still be better

my answer to (2):

• use whatever pieces have the highest amount of useful substat rolls (CR, CD, Atk%, EM)
• when substat count is tied between two pieces, use whatever gets you closer to a 1:2 crit ratio
• try to use whichever circlet gets you closer to a 1:2 ratio (keep farming if you don't have a good one)

(just don't impose arbitrary limitations like "75% CR is enough", imo, that was the problem for me)

I think her ideal usecase is geo resonance with someone like Xilonen, but it's still not among the better teams you can build for whatever normal attack user you have

I still like builder her to 70 for theater, since geo has so few good options

so it's not as required for her scaling as for non-atk scalers
