Furina does two things:

her skill deals off-field damage, like Fischl's. Her summons last 30s.
It also makes swirling hydro easier, since there's no competing electro aura.

Her burst gives a dmg% buff to the whole team. (dmg% is the stat you get from a hydro dmg goblet for example)

Her dmg% buff scales with the team hp changing. Neuv keeps draining his hp and healing it back, so he helps her stack it.

Alh can increase the ceiling, but it's also another 5★ which increases the cost

the power level has gone up, and Alh teams haven't benefitted as much from that as other teams have

what's still nice about HB is it doesn't really use any supports you'd want for the other side

since part of the damage profile is transformative reaction damage and doesn't benefit from the dmg% buff
