As it stands their artifacts aren't even halfway towards perfect

Flower : lacks crit rate. Its main stat is fixed so you have more chance of securing a better set, even if the roll for crit damage is nice. But you can let it be for now, as there are worse pieces.

Feather : change at all costs. Too much rolls went into hp% and hp fixed, and it lacks the crit damage substat.

The goblet and sands are okay-ish, though not optimal, but they are harder to farm so I'd let them be for now.

Circlet... You want another. Crit dmg as the base, crit rate and atk% as substats minimal.

But overall, the one lacking thing you have is with the feather and flower.

Crit dmg isn't worth much if the crit rate isn't optimal for it to proc enough.

You don't even have to get much crit rate overall, because your main weapon gives 33% once at lvl 90. That just means you should at least have 70% CR on him. It is very possible, but you want to be patient and secure farming dungeons for him.

Both these teams are very needy in terms of hydro app - yelan can make up for it but often she needs help to be optimal, with for example a dendro onfielder to play like alhaitham yelan nahida kuki, or a second hydro for stuff like hutao furina yelan x or nahida yelan xq kuki (but this one would again leave hu tao with no hydro app)

beyond that, his most important stat is ER to make sure he can actually use said burst.
