his ER req is a result of how many particles the team produces. kqm can only give you an approximate case, it's often recommended not to use kqm's ER recommendation. (There's an ER calculator sheet that can give a better answer, Sensi posted a screenshot of it.)

his highest ER req would be on teams where he's the only pyro char, and he only uses his skill once per rotation.

let's take xiangling as example, she wants crit rate, crit dmg, EM, ER and atk% so having only those stats would be the best option (it would give you insane roll value) but since it's hard to get pieces like that you should balance your cv (crit value) with rv, using pieces with at least 3 substats that you need, like Hidden50 said, 7 substats (7 rolls) for flower and feather since it's easier to get better flowers and feather and 5 substats for the other pieces

you can use some stardust on Dust of Azoth to convert gems to a different type, if necessary

at ar58+, I'm not sure. it takes less runs to get the boss mats now, so gemstones might actually be what determines how many runs you need?

I also do basically no weekly bosses though, as I'm sitting on 10+ of most weekly boss drops. if I did those I'd have more gems

with Yae Miko, you're asking about aggravate. Fischl's second ascension passive really goes off in aggravate.

it can trigger every 0.5 seconds, and has no ICD (internal cooldown on its electro application).

It will apply electro every time it triggers, so every time your electro on-fielder triggers aggravate Fischl will hit and will aggravate as well

I'd say comparing them is wrong, though. They don't typically go into the same team slot.

You'll have Yae on-field taking up a decent amount of field time. Almost every Yae team has Fischl, who is usually off-field.

The rest of the team are units like Kazuha, possibly Tighnari/Nahida

for Xilonen to work, you just need to bring 2 or more phec characters (pyro/hydro/electro/cryo)

think of her like Kazuha, but instead of grouping you get healing

apply an element to crystallize, like you would do before Kazuha to swirl

then bring in Xilonen, use skill → 2 normal attacks
only question is when to use the burst. (either before, between the normal attacks, or after)

hmm, so the reason you want a healer with Furina isn't actually that your chars will die (Zhongli stops that completely)

but Furina deals more damage and buffs your team more when there is a healer

hmm, she does work with Wriothesley. Similar situation to Hutao I hear, where swirling cryo can be hard but Xilonen makes for easy setups

I do wonder about the long-term value of Shenhe

the problem is the uptime. VV lasts 10 seconds, and you need to go to Bennett and your off-field pyro app for melt (Xiangling?)

so if you swirl first, you have little uptime left by the time you get back to wrio
