she's a very strong support sure, whether she's a "must have" is entirely subjective

I'd recommend levelling up Layla, Thoma, Kachina (unless you got Xilonen), Yaoyao, and Candace

Layla is a good shielder that you can plug in almost every team that needs it
Thoma to a different extent since he enables few teams himself (mainly burgeon)
Kachina is literally just 4p Cinder holder though so ig she doesnt need much invest unless you want to make her do some dmg
Yaoyao is just generally good in dendro teams since she doubles as healer
Candace at c6 makes decent unit that you can put in quite a few teams

in terms of set options for dehya though you have instructor/scroll if she can proc it, or deepwood if running with emilie on the team

i suggest getting xilonen if you have the pulls and running her with mualani, xiangling +1

xilonen gives good buffs with easy setup and short field time

Zhongli just slots into existing teams and prevents enemies from interrupting / staggering you and throwing your characters around. Some chars are really vulnerable to that and want Zhongli, and he's nice to slot in against very aggressive enemies. But Zhongli doesn't provide you with damage.
