The main char you'll want to look for would be Nahida, when she re-runs.
Both Nilou and Alhaitham benefit a lot from having her.

One team you can build towards is Nilou Bloom, with Ayato as the on-fielder.

Do you have Xiphos' Moonlight for Ayato on Nilou Bloom?
If not, it's currently on banner.
One of the 5-star weapons (Key of Khaj Nisut) is also very good, so if you end up getting an early 5-star it's not necessarily bad. If you get Verdict, it's not great though.

So I'm trying to get through IT Act 6, but I got there and my party wasn't strong enough for it because I'd been neglecting some of my chars' Weapons and Artifacts. I've been trying to grind out a few the last few days and I've made some progress but I'm not sure if it's enough yet. I've downloaded some of the Enka profiles for the chars in question, I need to know if my roster is good enough to get through Act 6 now and if not, if there's anything I can do before reset to get them ready (I know they're FAR from done, but I'm not going to be able to finish them before reset, I just want something quick I can do to improve before reset).

No, just use the free characters you get wisely (Scara, Arle, Clorinde, etc) and borrow your friend's C6R5 character for the last stage
You'll have a much way higher chance of beating it with a fully leveled set for Alhaitham and Yoimiya. Farming some Gilded Dreams/Shimenawa domain and strongboxing Viridescent Venerer is a good idea.

Roll some good cards, manage teams well, and you can beat it

Like I see your talents are all leveled up, having a leveled decent set will make a huge difference in damage output

IT's really caught me with my pants down because I have a ton of chars and I've just been focusing on Char and Talent levels for a bunch of chars and saving Artifacts for later (but then later never comes because new chars keep dropping before I can finish). Okay I have no concept of what "a lot" of Fragile Resin is but I've rarely used them and let them build up so it prob is a lot. I have 209 Fragile Resin, about how much can I spend without causing more problems later?

Holy crap, a lot is an understatement for that amount
You can spend as much as you want w/o problem, their whole use is to provide resin for building characters anyways.
Start by farming artifacts for the characters you use and you'll see the difference very fast.

Theater ends in what, 7 days? With that amount of resin, you have plenty of time to get decent sets for your characters.

Right, my thing is my roster has been quantity over quality so there's a lot of Resin but a lot of chars that need better Artifacts, I have to worry about this season of IT, but then there's some other chars I'd need to build for the next one (luckily I'm in better shape for that one, I have multiple fully built Hydro and Geo chars so should be less to work on there).

Alright, that's good for you, you've got plenty of time. Don't forget you can use one of your friend's characters as a support slot.

Just to give you an idea, here's a screenshot of my roster. A lot of 5* chars at Lv. 90 with Lv. 9/10 Talents, but only Raiden, Ayaka, Kok, Zhongli, Venti, Nahida, Furina, Klee, and Diluc have full sets with useful stats (and a few of them still might need tweaking there).

As for friends, I might need to find some here because I don't think I have many in Genshin and one that I do have is at a lower AR and hasn't maxed out her chars yet.

You definitely don't have to worry about insufficient roster.
I'm not gonna lie to you, channels here are pretty dead sometimes so you'll have better luck in Genshin Impact Official server.

Hey! I've been playing around with the Black Sword and the Wolf Fang, both at R5.

I noticed that the Wolf Fang's 32% E/Q DMG Bonus works off field but the 4~16% crit rate bonus does not.
Wolf's description doesn't say anything about the passive only partially working off-field, am I missing something here?

The description of some other weapons clearly say that the passive does/doesn't work off-field but Wolf's doesn't.
