Assuming you have a third dendro unit that is not DMC/Collei, and even if you don't its at least somewhat likely you will get kirara from pulling for nilou

Tavern commissions. You can check them out in #bot-features

so these longterm encounter points work differently than daily points or what

I think:
If you collect any beyond the necessary 4 to complete your daily commissions, the rest become longterm.

In the future, spend resin on anything and they become encounter points again.
This means you don't have to hold back on exploration so you have chests and oculi to collect for encounter points anymore.

I think if you have longterm points, you can just log in → condense resin → collect commission rewards → log out

but also, you don't do much damage without bursts. so it can be awkward trying to end it without starting a new rotation

Navia has more of her damage coming from her elemental skill, so in that sense her teams don't have that problem

I remember having to fight 2 Cryo Abyss Mages and then 2 Cryo Lectors and couldn't beat them fast enough before the challenge just started draining all my characters' health
