if you're fast you can refresh raiden's E instead of dashing after the first 4 normal attacks, but it's quite tricky

How does VVS mechanic work? Does it shred RES by hitting Anemo on mobs that have Pyro on them? or just the shockwave that emits from the Swirled Pyro that will AOE shred ?

because by how i understand VV set effect, just need to hit the Shockwave from the Swirl infused element

so when you swirl an element, whatever element is infused in that swirl will correspond with what resistance type is shredded. the resistance shred is applied when the swirl damage hits. anemo damage on enemies (on hits that apply anemo) is what causes swirl if there's an element to swirl

the set user must also swirl while on-field to apply the resistance shred

crystallise shields also count for that, as long as you have off-field elemental application it's fine to run shieldless (even tho zhongli is still ideal). gorou pulls em towards you too
