buffs are one way for them to contribute damage, but dealing their own damage instead is also good

yes he can do that. hes a spread dps, meaning he needs electro off fielders to do so. your best option would be fischl. anyone else who also does off field dmg usually has er issues and would like to be paired with her. thats the main issue. you dont want to use her at all, resulting in almost impossible to make an optimal team.
