there are 2 typical strategies I think

• focus on two / three damage windows on each rotations. More typical if you're playing circle impact

best way to answer these questions is with the Genshin Optimizer. 2pc mixes can be worth running over better 4pc sets for you personally due to artifact quality, at least on character's where a specific 4pc set is not near mandatory (e.g a deepwood user on bloom/hyperbloom/burgeon teams or 4pc vv on anemo supports in a team which has a significant amount of swirlable damage)
