You want your characters to be on good builds because a lot of events require you to have good teams for atleast every elemental enemy time and when you have terrible builds or not enough variety, it makes the event much harder or even possible to complete

A. Check if Antivirus quarantined files

• Check for any quarantined files from: C:\Program Files\Genshin Impact\Genshin Impact Game folder
• Disable Antivirus shields or set Antivirus exclusion for: C:\Program Files\Genshin Impact\

B. Recreate game installation folder
Note: Make sure Windows Security is turned off throughout the whole process.

1. Rename your Genshin Impact Game folder to GI_old. We're going to take what's in here and put it in a new folder with a proper structure

2. Make a new folder in the same directory called Genshin Impact

3. Go into your GI_old folder, and delete blob_storage from it

4. Move everything from GI_old to the new Genshin Impact folder

5. Inside the Genshin Impact folder, make a new folder inside it called Genshin Impact Game, your file structure will look like this:
   \Genshin Impact\Genshin Impact Game

6. Drag and drop these files (refer to the image below) from the Genshin Impact folder to Genshin Impact Game:
   GenshinImpact_Data
   config.ini
   GenshinImpact.exe
   HoYoKProtect.sys
   pkg_version
   UnityPlayer.dll
   "Audio_<Language>_pkg_version" eg. Audio_English(US)_pkg_version

7. You can move your ScreenShot folder elsewhere, or put it back in the Genshin Impact game folder

8. Launch the game

C. Reinstall required plugins

1. Go to game installation directory (By default: C:\Program Files\Genshin Impact\Genshin Impact game)
2. Open GenshinImpact_Data folder
3. Delete Plugins folder
4. Open the Launcher, click the three lines next to Launch and select Repair Now (This should download ~270 MB worth of required plugins)
5. Once it's done, launch the game

D. Remove x360ce and xinput_(number).dll files
If you're using x360ce, delete the x360ce files in the game folder, as well as any xinput_(number).dll files in C:\Program Files\Genshin Impact (do a search, could be in many places). * If that doesn't work, may want to try A and B as well.

E. Remove Reshade.dll
If you installed Reshade.dll:

• Delete gshade/reshade
• Navigate to Genshin Impact's Game directory: C:\Program Files\Genshin Impact\Genshin Impact Game
  Delete the following:
• Reshade-shaders/gshade (directory)
• Any .ini files with the exception of config.ini (which is a Genshin Impact file, not a reshade one)
• All related “dxgi” (files if found)

F. Reinstall the Game
If all else fails, a reinstall might work. For instructions on how to do a full uninstall, check the guide "Fully uninstall the game" in PC how-tos section.
