Nahida gives insane buffs so the damage for ganyu should be far higher however the team quites a LOT of focus as the incorrect rotation can result in Ganyu losing a lot of damage

there's some rotations where you can but most often Ganyu's burst will steal melts

purely in terms of damage they are fairly close I believe, one of the advantages to Burnmelt is that you don't need to stand as close to enemies to be able to Melt Ganyu's CA's - but Dehya's 100% IR also has a fairly short duration. The benny/xiangling/zhongli team is simpler to play and longer-lasting interrupt resistance

Against something like Wenut that moves around a lot Burnmelt would be more effective though
